At the mechanical engineering exhibition MSV 2023 in Brno, Ukraine was represented by the second largest delegation, after the Czechs themselves. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Ukraine was allocated a little over 300 m2 of space with its own platform for presentations. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine also prepared very well, it was not difficult to recognize the Ukrainian location thanks to the bright banners with the regions of the regions, whose Chamber of Chambers were represented. Young students visiting the exhibition heard: “Oh, Ukrainians!” The first half of the day was devoted to the Business Day of Ukraine conference, where representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Czech government officials presented their vision of the development of Czech-Ukrainian relations, objective difficulties and prospects. Oksana Antonenko from CzechTrade, Kyiv office, really liked the presentation. I found it to be the most meaningful, one feels a deep expertise in his field of activity. In general, the interest of the Czechs in Ukraine, in cooperation with Ukrainian business and the implementation of joint projects is very pleasant. In the afternoon, the presentation part continued with the participants of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (Ukrainian Cluster Alliance) and APAU delegations organized by CzechInno. The moderator was the incredible and energetic Tereza Shamanova, one of the main lobbyists of Czech-Ukrainian meetings and cooperation. Despite the war and, as a result, financial and legal problems with Czech businesses entering the Ukrainian market (they are simply not insured), the Czech Republic ranks 7th in terms of bilateral trade in goods with an annual turnover of almost 3 billion dollars. USA (2022). With such a course, attitude, passion and inspiration, these indicators will only increase.
